This course is designed to equip drivers and protocol officers with security awareness and proactive security skills necessary for operating in Nigeria’s increasingly volatile environment. The program will enhance efficiency in team work amongst the drivers and protocol officers/armed escorts leading to successful journeys
- Demonstrate heightened situational and security awareness by identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential threats during official journeys.
- Apply journey management and communication protocols to ensure safe, coordinated, and incident-free movements.
- Exhibit professional etiquette, discretion, and protocol conduct in alignment with institutional standards and public expectations.
- Implement defensive driving and emergency response techniques to manage road hazards, ambushes, or medical emergencies effectively.
- Collaborate effectively with armed escorts and journey management team members to safeguard lives, assets, and institutional reputation
At the end of the programme, participants will be able to:
